Blogging Guidelines

A blog is a powerful communication tool but to use it properly we must agree to some basic rules. Please read the guidelines below. By contributing to the blog you are agreeing to abide by these rules. Blog posts that do not follow these guidelines will be removed and the author will have to re-post a new entry in order to receive any marks. 

Safety First!

  • Use your first name only
  • Do not link to your personal webpage or any other sites related to personal use
  • Do not give out your personal information
  • Do not post photos of anyone without their permission
Be Polite
  • Read other people's comments and respond to what they have to say. Thenmake your own comment!
  • Don't say anything you would not say to your grandmother!
  • It's ok to disagree, but be prepared to discuss why.
  • Stay on topic. Keep comments related to the discussion of literature.
  • No plagarism. Don't copy someone's work unless you give them credit. 
Be Literate Please
  • You are publishing your work. Present yourself in the best possible way. 
  • Edit! Check spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.
  • Leave out abbreviations, slang and text language.
