Blog post

Acceleration. Blog post. March.

Duncan loves to swim, it's a way for him to get away from everyone. One day he was at the beach way far out there so no one could reach him. He hears screams and looks over and sees a little girl a few feet away drowning. He tries to reach her but  it's too late no one was close enough but him. Duncan has a job working in the subways Lost and Found. He finds a journal. The journal contains some awful things about random people and attacks. Things like killing cats and setting fires, and specific details about women. Duncan tries to find the person who wrote it, but he can't stop reading it. Will Duncan find this cereal killer? What's the killers next move going to be?

I didn't like the ending of the book because it all went by to fast and it wasn't really thrilling. The author should added more detail when explaining the house. I had a hard time visualizing the scene.

I would recommend this book to readers looking for a good book with a lot of feeling. Readers will not only experience a good book but, will realize helping others is the way to go. I think Duncan did the right thing by following him but i think he should have just called to police.

The Notebook By- Nicholas Sparks

This book that i'm reading called "The Notebook." It's about a girl named Allie and a guy named Noah. When they first met they fall for each other. But when the summer ended Allie had to leave. 17 years later Allie comes to visit Noah to tell him that she is engaged to a lawyer named Lon. If i have to choose a song for the back ground i would choose a song called "where are you my love" by "khu Hser." Because this song have a really touching lyrics that is very similar to this story. And i think you should read this book because it is a very good book. You will only like this book if you are the type of person who like romantic story.

Night  shade; Andrea Cremer.                              .

The book I read  is called Night Shade and is written by Andrea Cremer. Its a series and I'm reading the first book. It says on the cover that its a New York times best seller.

It's a really good book about a girl, Calla, who is also a wolf. While on patrol, Calla comes across a human boy being attacked by a bear. In her wolf form, Calla saves the boy. Being the alpha of the pack Calla is not supposed to show her change to humans, but her blood can help to heal the boy without medical help. She thinks that she and the human will never see each other again so she changes form and gives the boy blood. Later she finds out that the boy transferred to her school.  Calla is scheduled to marry the alpha of another pack, but she starts to fall for the boy who she saved.

I suggest you read this book if you like fantasy, thriller or romance. I enjoyed reading it and can't wait to read the next book to the series.

The book I am choosing to write about is The Hunger Games. written by Suzanne Collins.
Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete. In this book, katniss Evedreen and another opponent is chosen from district 11 to compete in the games. In the stadium, teens compete for survival by killing each other, finding a safe place to live, and creating alliances to ensure safety. However, only one person can win. In the book, Katniss faces problems right from the beginning. Dehydrated, Katniss must find water to begin the games. Finding water, Katniss can now begin her adventure of survival. Using her hunting skills, she is able to survive and get enough food. Not always enough to be full but enough to live. Throughout the book, Katniss faces things she never thought she would have to. Tired, weak  and barley alive, she finds her friend from district 11 clinging to life. now, she not only has to save herself, but get Peeta back to life and well enough to compete.

Katniss could fit into real life. She has many life skills, is fairly social  and is a strong person. She stands up for what she believes for and always puts in full effort.

How to Be a Hepburn in a Hilton World-Jordan Christy

Becoming a classy young lady in today's society can be very difficult. With true fashion slowly dissolving over time, it's hard to stay graceful and elegant with all these's poor style choices surrounding us. Jordan Christy demonstrates good qualities that any adolescent girl should have. She includes quotes from many respectable woman such as Cindy Crawford, Audrey Hepburn, Eleanor Roosevelt and even Jane Austen. For every chapter there is a new quote to start off the next topic and for one topic Christy shows us a quote from Audrey Hepburn stating "Let's face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me." Christy uses this as an example that curves use to be desirable back in the 'Hepburn' days where girls didn't diet every single month and feel bad if they couldn't fit into a size 0 in jeans. Being perfect isn't the goal of this book, it's being chic without the grammar or style of   Paris Hilton and still staying true to yourself.
I personally think if you're a girl or maybe even a guy that's into books that talk a lot about living classy and modest then this is the book for you! This book shows life experiences about the 80s bold colors and un-lady like manners. It's an education to a Vogue life!
