Insurgent-By Veronica Roth
Divergent was the first book of this series, a friend begged me to read this book and instantly I was hooked! it is a fasted paced, adventorous series of wars, betrayls and a romantic relationships. The whole concept is where at a age teens get tested and decided in which faction they can stay in for the rest of their lives. They are born into a faction with there parents and then get to decide if they could leave or stay, they have to make the best decision on which faction to pick based on their test results. This book demonstrates what life could be if we didn't have people leading us,their are five factions and all demonstrate differences in what people are like whether they are daring, or happy all the time or even if they are brain smart more than street smart.I love this book because i feel like its a great demonstration of how people see how are personalities are or how people see each other.I would really recomend reading this book if you are into si-fi ,or adventure books and if you havent read the first book u should start with the first one to make sense of the this one.

Do you think this book is realistic? If so, why? and also do you believe that it would be a good read for someone who is not generally a fan of the sy-fi or action genre?
ReplyDeleteI read this book a while back and LOVED it!! Even though the concept of this book was unrealistic, the author has a way of making it very relatable. And personally, I am not a fan of sy-fi, but I really did love this novel! I would recommend it to anyone!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would like The Hunger Games books because I typically don't like that genre, but when I read them, I LOVED them. I am wondering if this book is similar and I should give it a try...
ReplyDeleteIn my personal opinion, Divergent and Insurgent were far superior to The Hunger Games!! I found the plot far more engaging, the characters more interesting, and for whatever reason I found the whole story more believable and relatable. Perhaps thats just my opinion but regardless i would recommend you give it a try for sure!!
DeleteThis book is almost like the hunger games , the factions are put up against each other and it's mostly about what personalities you fit into to be in a faction
