Taken-by Norah McClintock
The book taken is about a girl who in her town  there is a man kidnapping girls. One day when walking home, the girl takes a short cut through the field when someone comes from behind her and drugs her. Later, she wakes up in a cabin in the middle of the woods and manages to escape. When she gets out, there is nothing around, no roads. Just trees. now she has to try and survive in the woods and find her way back to civilization.
My reaction to this book was the main character and how smart and clever she was. When she broke free of the cabin, she remembered the things her grandfather had taught her last summer about survival in the woods. She knew how to use the sun to find her direction and survival techniques like collecting dew in the morning for water.

One questions I had a bout the book was how would the main character carry on through the woods alone with a very injured ankle. that was the only thing hat didn't seem very plausible but the rest was well written.
I would recondite this book to anybody who likes a fast pace book full of action and intrigue.

Running out of time is a book about a young girl named Jessie Keyser and her family. The Keyser family along with other families live in a place called Clifton during the time 1840's. Jessie took nightly doctoer calls with her mom, they would go try to take of people who were sick. One day there was a disease going around called diphtheria. A lot of children were getting sick including Katie, Jessie's little sister. Her mom could not find a cure, and had to tell Jessie the truth. 1840's Clifton was not real, it was all an act for a tourist attraction museum. Jessie's mom told her that Clifton was being watched all the time by video cameras. Jessie is sent on a mission to save  her sister and the other children. Will Jessie get help intime to save everyone?

I was surprised when Jessie took the challenge to get help for the children, on her own.

There was some parts of the book where there could've been more detail because, some parts were confusing and didn't make sense.

I think this is a very good book and I would reccomend this  book to other people. Others should read this book because, it's very interesting and suspenseful. It was very hard to put the book down, and you never knew what was going to happen next.

The unbecoming of mara dyer by Michelle Hodkin November 30 2012

The unbecoming of mara dyer
by Michelle Hodkin

This book is about a sixteen year old girl named Mara Dyer, the story begins when she wakes up in the hospital and has no recollection on the reason why. Mara soon finds out that her best friend, her boyfriend and his sister all died when the building they were in collapsed, Mara was the only one to survive. Mara and her family soon realized that she is struggling to continue without her best friend so they decide to move their family of five from Rhode island to Florida. Mara hopes things will get better but instead they take a turn for the worse. Mara begins to dread looking in mirrors because every time she finds people looking back at her she knows to be dead. While Mara feels as if she is going insane she attends her first few weeks of a private school, making a horrible first impression and immediately making enemies is not helping her recovery from the accident. While at school one boy in particular catches her eye, although she is told that he will bring her nothing but trouble. Noah Shaw immediately becomes a part of Mara's life and while she is resistant she begins a long descent falling for him. Aside from Mara's strange hallucinations she realizes that she has a horrible and devastating power, she can cause peoples death just by picturing them dying in her mind. So while Mara tries to deal with new found enemies, horrible powers, hallucinations and a boy she has been warned about she thinks her life cant get anymore bizarre. She is very wrong!

I enjoyed this book, I found that it was a topic I had never come across in the past. The characters in this book were easy to make assumptions about but upon reading further into the book I found that each of them had a long back story. I also found all of the protagonist characters very easy to like, it was very easy to distinguish the protagonists from the antagonists. I found that throughout the book it felt as thought the author did a poor job of making feelings heard, I felt that the majority of the book was actions and a lot of running around as opposed to reactions and reflections, but this could simply be a matter of opinion.

I  would recommend this book for others to read, I think readers who enjoy realistic fiction would enjoy this book. Michelle Hodkin did a very good job of putting a lot of twists and turns and a surprising ending into this book. I don't think anyone will see the ending coming. If you enjoy reading books that are more action and don't dwell on feelings than I would recommend this book.

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth instalment of the Harry Potter series. Harry is a troubled young man. He has lost his parents, friends and had to deal with hardships that not even an adult should face. He watched his parents and a very close friend die in front of him. On top of that, the evil wizard Voldemort is trying to kill him. In this book, Harry and his friends try to survive the hectic life of being wizards and witches. They try to find a way to destroy Lord Voldemort by learning about horcruxes and Voldemort's past to destroy him to save himself, the wizard world and the muggle world.

In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince the plot is very well developed. It is developed throughout the series and gets more interesting as the series goes on. The connection that Harry has with the Dark Lord, is very unusual and interesting. However, the plot is very unrealistic this, I think makes the story more appealing. This along with the character development is one of the biggest reasons why I continue to read this series over and over again.

One question that I was wondering throughout this book is whether or not Snape was still a Death Eater because he was trusted by Dumbledore but he was still in contact with some Death Eaters. Also I wondered about Harry's parents because they are only mentioned a few times and not much is known about them.

I would highly recommend that everyone should read this book and also the whole series. This is not the first time I've read this series and it is still by far one of the best series I've read.

Room By:Emma Donoghue

By:Emma Donoghue
This book is about a terrible tragedy that happend to a young girl when she was in college.
The book is writen in frist person form the son's point of view. The girl that he calls Ma was kidnaped after staying late in college. Ma and Jack live in a small shack behind the man who ubducted them's house. Jack call the man Old Nick because he saw on t.v.(he calls everything like the object is its name ex. the chair=chair the tub=tub the door=door) that Old St. Nick Sneaks into poeple houses late at night and that is what this man does. Old Nick sneaks into their room and rapes the mother at night well Jack lays in the wardrobe counting the creaks. Jack is a very brave little boy even tho he is only just five. Jack learns how to count and he is more intelligent then most five year-olds. They spend most of their days playing games that they make up and living on almost nothing. Untill one day they come up with a master plan on how to escape but will it work? You would have to read the book.

This book is amazing and made me cry and jump more than once. I think that anyone over 12 should read it. It has a touching ending and a great plot.I recomend this book to everyone who i think would be able to understand all the things going on in poor Jack's life.

The Second Trial By: Rosemarie Boll

Danny McMillan who is the main character never knew his dad was hurting his mom, until one night his father really hurt his mom which split their family forever. While his dad is sentenced in court, Danny can't figure out to who he should stay with, his mom, or his dad who he loved so much. After the trial is over, a second one begins for Danny. Social services have to move Danny, his sister and his mom away from Edmonton, away from their dad so when he gets out of jail, he doesn't hurt their family anymore. Danny and his family must change everything, their surname, their first name their birthday and many more. Danny must now go to a new school but doesn't know who to be, Danny McMillan or David Mayer(his new identity). Things starts to go downhill and Danny starts smoking, drinking, stealing and hanging out with the wrong friends, but will he pull it together with his new life? or will he crash and breakdown and tell everyone his secret.

One reaction to one of the characters is Danny. Even though he faced a lot of dificulties in his life, my reaction to him was that I was surprise when he started doing bad things because, in the beginning of the story, he was a nice and caring boy.

I wounder if Danny's dad ever found out where Danny's family moved and I wounder if Rosemarie Boll makes more books like this one. I thought there wasn't a lot of action but its still a great book.

I think people should read this book because, this book talks about real life situations and talks about pure pressure. I couldn't stop reading this book because it it a very good book.

The Kill Order

BY Allie Pocklington

Written By: James Dashner
This book is The Kill Order. It is the prequel to The Maze Runner, followed by The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure. This book is about how the Flare started, before WICKED was formed, the glade was built, Thomas entered the maze and destroyed the world man kind took for granted. The Flare is a deathly disease once you catch it you are sure to die since there is no antidote created. Yet. Except there are many people who are immune to this disease and can survive with out catching it. This book takes place in South-East USA. The main characters in this book are Mark, Alec, Trina and Lana. The Kill Order is from Marks point of view but is in 3rd person. You follow him around, hear about his dreams and what he has lost from this horrible decease.

Mark was there when the Flare and end of the world began, along with Trina right by his side the whole time. They survived the flare but that was easy compared to what followed. Mark and Trina along with Alec and Lana set of to find a cure to save the world from madness. They are willing to do anything as long as they're alive. When Alec and
Mark take a little walk off their camp site to check something out there they are taken and captured by another group of survivors, who are slowing going insane. When they return to their site Trina, Lana and little girl they found who was left behind by the same group that captured Mark and Alec, the two of them set out to look for them. Then...

My opinion in this book is it was very well written and I was always on the edge of my seat. It is one of my favourite books and I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 10 especially if you like action books. The author of this book puts in the right amount of detail so you get a clear vision of what is going on but he never over did it.
Has anyone else read these books? If so did you like them?

The Watsans Go to Birmingham- 1963

The Watsans Go To Birmingham- 1963

This book is about a family in the 60's with three kids, Byron whose age is not mentioned, Kenny who is ten and Joey who is five. Byron is the oldest kid and gets into the most trouble. He is always skipping school and lighting fires and is really mean to his little brother Kenny.  Kenny is the opposite of Byron. Kenny never gets in trouble. He is very smart and reads alot but has no friends. Byron is the top of the school and can make anyone do anything he wants where as Kenny has one lazy eye that sits in the corner and gives kids a reason to tease him. Byron gets in so much trouble that his parents can't take it anymore and they decide to take the long drive to Grandma Sands in Alabama to drop Byron off for the summer to learn to be a better kid.  Joey is the boy's younger sister who is very emotional and cries all the time about everything but yet everyone loves her. Since she is so emotional she finds it very hard to leave her big brother in Alabama so of course she cries. Grandma Sands is very mean and very strict so it was very hard for Byron.

I loved this book. I loved how it was set in the 60's so you had to use your imagination and try and imagine what it would have been like. I also really liked how the book was written from the point of view of Kenny the middle child. I am the oldest of three so it was very interesting and different to hear a story told from a middle child's point of view. I would recommend this book to people eleven and up because it is an easy read but you do need background knowledge of the time period to really understand what was happening.

Among The Hidden - Margaret Peterson Haddix

Luke was only young but yet he had so little freedom. All he could ever do all day was stay in his little old house with his two brothers Matthew and Mark and his mom and dad. Luke was considered a shadow child, he was the third child of two kids. There was a law against having Luke because he was the third child. Luke had to stay hidden or else the population police will find him and kill him. One day luke was sitting in the attic all lonely when he suddenly saw something really interesting, he could have sworn he saw all his neighbors leave their house that morning. when he suddenly saw another persons face coming from that same house. Luke was memorized by what he saw! so he decides to go check it out. Luke discovers that he's not the only showdow kid out there, there was thousands of them. Luke met Jen she was  a shodow child just like him. Jen had a plan and her plan was to gather up all the thousands of shadow kids and revoke against the government and his men. Will Luke and Jen suceed in this process, or will they get caught in the end and both die along with the thousands of other shadow kids?

I would recomend this book because this book is very suspenceful and eye catching, and is pretty easy to understand in the end

The one thing the Author should have gave more information on is Luke and his family history, and when all this population law happened, and how.

Grave Mercy - R.L. LeFevers

Grave Mercy is about a seventeen year old girl named Ismae. She has grown up in the brutal world of arranged marriages, and her "husband" is anything but the boy of her dreams. However, on one fateful night, a group of strange people come to her rescue from the blissfully peaceful convent of St. Mortain, where along with a bunch of other rescued young girls, it is her task to master the arts of being an assassin, and to aid the God of Death in his task to kill those destined to die. To kill those with the mark. She quickly learns the skills needed, and excels greatly. Her new role takes her straight to the high court of Brittany where treachery and treason reign. She is prepared to kill, but she is not prepared for the most terrible task of all: To kill the one who, against her will, has stolen her heart.
This is one of the first books I have read in the historical romance genre, as its defined. And though I haven't read many books in this genre, overall it seemed like an interesting book! The main character impressed me, as it was unique that she was the "hero" of the novel, despite being a female. This was nice to read, and added a different tone to the book. The writing was also very advanced, which was a nice challenge for an avid reader like myself. Since the book takes place in the past, the writing style matched, using bits and pieces of old English. Normally, I would find this unusual, but in this case, it suited the plot of the book perfectly, enhancing the book further. I was also quite impressed by the plot of the book. It was highly different from the typical teenage-style romance novel, and the author created very interesting characters that you really got to know and love by the end of the book.
I do however have a number of complaints about this book. Though the plot was exciting, I think that it was told in a very confusing and hard-to-follow manor. In a book that contains old English, I think it is important that it is written clearly, but instead the dialogue jumped around a lot, and some parts were very confusing, even throughout the ending, drastically taking away from the experience. Another problem I had was that even though the plot was exciting, it see-sawed back and forth between high action and very mundane, pointless sections. One chapter would be exciting and fast paced, but then the next five would be very uninteresting and seemingly unnecessary, so at times I wasn't captivated enough to read on. In addition, I thought that there were too many characters that were not important, making things even harder to follow. At first, I thought that maybe the characters would be important by the end, but I found out that they never became in any way significant! This annoyed me to an extent. Regardless though, I do have to say that the main characters were very well developed, and I did come to love them a lot.
Since the book was somewhat confusing, I have a couple different questions. Most importantly, the author focused on the death of a certain character, but in the end it seemed like said death had no purpose. Maybe I missed something? Or maybe the author just shouldn't have included that part. However, this is just my personal opinion. Has this happened to anyone else in a novel?
Despite being a bit confusing, and some parts being disappointing, I would still recommend this book - just not to everybody. To begin, you definitely would have to be patient, as it will take some patience to get through certain portions. Also, you need to have a liking of history, as a giant portion of the book revolves around historic events. If you don't like/have either of these traits, I wouldn't recommend this book, but if you do, perhaps this book is right up your alley! As a conclusion, Grave Mercy was very fascinating, and a sweet and passionate love novel that I urge you to give a try!

The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle

Sherlock Holmes is a crime consultant, he helps detectives in London whenever they require help on a case for a fee. Sherlock lives alone  until he meets Watson, previously a military doctor in the English army, he was shot in a battle and now returning to England he can't afford a house so he decides to move in with Sherlock. They move into a house on Baker Street where Watson learns about Sherlock's strange arts of deduction, he doubts them until they get brought up into their first big case, The Study in Scarlet. After that Watson doesn't doubt Sherlocks abilities and goes on to publish all of their cases. So begins Sherlock and Watson's amazing adventures in the mysteries of crime and the art of deduction.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book as they are developed quite well in a very short amount of time. The book does this by having Sherlock sum them up through his arts of deduction, the book also does a great job of depicting Sherlock and Watson as Sherlock is described very well through Watson's perspective and you really get to know Sherlock. Watson is also well described even though the book is told through his perspective, he is described through the way he responds and through Sherlock deducts him. Also all the characters are just incredibly well written and make you feel that you could meet these people in real life.

My one question from this book is why some of the mysteries were very short, one of the mysteries is only 30 pages long which i felt was way to short as it didn't even have a good ending.

This book is very good in my opinion as it kept me interested the entire way through so I would suggest this book to everyone as I feel it has a very wide appeal. The best things about this book is the character development, the setting, and the main character those things in my opinion make the book one of my favourite books. If your thinking of reading this book, you should as it is one of the best crime books in history.

Between Shades of Grey

Between Shades of Grey
Ruta Sepetys

Between Shades of Gray Book
Between Shades of Grey is a novel that takes place in the times of World War II. This story talks about the great suffering of the time and unimaginable discrimination. You probably think it is about the holocaust and the persecution of Jewish people, but this book is about a girl from the country of Lithuania and her story of deportation and misery. In the summer of 1941, a 15-year-old, aspiring artist named Lina is excitedly beginning her summer of a prestigious art school, first dates and time to enjoy herself. When suddenly there is a knock on her door one night. The NKVD (Soviet soldiers) breaks down her door, rushes into her home and tells her to pack her belongings into a suitcase and leave in 10 minutes. Lina has no idea where she is going or why. Her father has been separated form her family and sent in an alternate car. She is stuffed into a boxed in wagon with about 40 other people and shipped away. In the wagon emotions are running high, no one knows where they are going or why, Lina is silently suffering, a million thoughts racing through her head. Next they are shipped into train cars for days on end until they arrive at a labor camp, in Siberia. Many people die or fall ill of a range of diseases. Despite the odds Lina fights for her life and the lives of many others, including her own family. Lina documents this intense struggle of shortage of food, discrimination, disease and horror through her drawings. She risks her life to draw the monstrosity of her surroundings. Love is what is keeping them alive, but is love enough?

A huge reaction that I had to an aspect of the book was the basis the story was written on. Everything that happened to Lina actually happened to real people in real life! At the time, people from the Baltic countries of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia were sent into prisons or labor camps as an act of genocide. The Soviet leader of the time took all their rights away and took their countries off the maps completely. They experienced huge acts of violence towards them and discrimination. The soviets claimed they were criminals to the rest of the world, but none had actually committed crime. The cruelness of these camps and prisons can be compared to those of concentration camps that Jewish people were sent to at the same time in history. I was in shock when I read the authors note that explained that this abomination occurred in history and was greatly covered up when the war was lost. Pictures were burned and culture almost disintegrated. The people of the Baltic regions rarely discuss these times due to the pain it brings them. The pain and suffering of the time for people of the Baltic region is one of the world’s greatest secrets.

One question that I was wondering while reading my way through this moving tale was, how could I never know about this? Every grade nine students or teacher, who may read this blog, has heard about the horror of the holocaust and Hitler's rule. Which is something I believe is essential to education, but why have we never heard of this suffering of the people from the Baltic region? I did some extra research on the topic because I was curious. Founding out that the soviets killed 20 million people was complete shock to me. I could not believe that I had never heard about this. My question to you is reader, Are you informed of this terrible time in history? If so, why do you think the knowledge of these events are so scarce?

I most definitely recommend this book as a compelling read to anyone who is up for a hidden story of the miraculous human nature and suffering alike. Everyone should read this book because it tells such an untold story of love, misery and triumph. As a girl of 14 years of age (about the same age as Lina) I cannot imagine the distress she must have been going through and the feeling she constantly had that she was missing everything that came with being a teenager; Simply because it was taken from her. This book has some dull stretches of mostly depressing writing, but that is made up for in the explanations of love within the story. Sepetys really makes you think about all that you have and all that you may not know about the world. If you are looking for a light read, this is not the book for you, but if you’re up for a wonderful, horrible, miraculous and heart breaking story, pick this book right off the shelf and start reading.

stoner and spaz

For sixteen-year-old Ben Bancroft - a kid with cerebral palsy, no parents, and an overprotective grandmother - the closest thing to happiness is hunkering alone in the back of the Rialto Theatre watching Bride of Frankenstein for the umpteenth time. Of course he waits for the lights to dim before making an entrance, so that his own lurching down the aisle doesn’t look like an ad for Monster Week. The last person he wants to run into is drugged-up Colleen Minou, resplendent in ripped tights, neon miniskirt, and an impressive array of tattoos. But when Colleen climbs into the seat beside him and rests a woozy head on his shoulder, Ben has that unmistakable feeling that his life is about to change.

Holes -Louis Sachar

Stanley Yelnats and his family are under a curse, all thanks to his no-good-dirty- rotten- pig- stealing- great-great-grandfather. Over 100 years ago his great-great-grandfather had broken his promise to carry Madame Zeroni up the mountain, this is where the curse began. Fast Forward 100 years to the most recent of the Yelnats' generation; Stanley Yelnats, once again he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, he was arrested for a crime he didn't commit and sent to an all boys' detention centre. Camp Green Lake. Every day each boy digs a hole in the dry, packed, barren wasteland, 5 ft wide and 5 ft deep- the length of their shovels. The rules are strict, the showers are cold but most of all the days are long, dry and HOT!. After taunts from the other boys and even the counsellors, Stanley's new friend Zero (Hector Zeroni) has enough and makes the mistake of hitting a counsellor in the face with a shovel. After much thought Stanley chooses to go after Zero, he hikes for a day until he finds the small, parched body of Zero... Alive. Stanley and Zero make the choice to climb a mountain(which happens to be in the shape of a thumb) which coincidentally was the place Stanleys Grandfather once found refuge years ago, but when Zero collapses of thirst and exhaustion Stanley is forced to carry his friend up the mountain. Will the Yelnats' curse be broken?

I really loved the plot in this story, the author did an awesome job of making the whole story interesting without dragging it on for too long. The fact that everything in the story connected and served a purpose really made me love it even more, there wasnt any random events that didnt make sense. All the characters and events in the story were related in some way and the story was almost like a puzzle. One question I had was what happened to the other boys at camp green lake? I felt the author should of spent more time discussing what happened after Stanley left and if all the boys were returned home or if they ended up going to Juvenile detention

I would really recommend this book to others, it was a great read and it was really fun to see all the parts of the story come together. This book really challenges your mind to make the connections between the charecters and the events in the plot. Also the story is easy to relate to because it contains alot of situations that teens can relate to, such as being picked on at school, having trouble fitting in and just life in general and the problems that come along with it. This book wasnt particularly challenging but it's still fun for all ages.

Goosebumbs#19

This book was about a brother and sister that spent their summer on their uncles research boat. At first it seemed like a good idea until something went wrong. Something terrible lurks at the bottom of the ocean. Will they make it out alive.
I thought the book was good but their was few details missed out. I wonder why the family was accepted money to catch the creature?
I would recommend this book if you are interested for a quick read with some thrill. In other words if you need a book for blogger read this book.

Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series: The Sea of Monsters By Rick Riordan

The Sea of Monsters is the second book in the Percy Jackson series.  When Percy's friend, Grover Underwood, is captured by a cyclopes named Polyphemus, Percy and his other good friend, Annabeth Chase leaves Camp Half-Blood to search for his friend.  Grover is drawn to the cyclopes because it's scent is so similar to that of the nature god, Pan, in which Grover went searching for.  In this book, Luke is introduced again as an evil character trying to re-build Kronos's body.  Luke also poisons the tree of Thalia, Zeus's daughter, in order to weaken the camps magical borders.  He is repeatedly attempting to stop Annabeth and Percy because he knows that the cyclopes protects the golden fleece.  This fleece was supposedly able to restore any area to perfect condition.  It did this while also bringing Thalia out of the tree in which she was imprisoned because Zeus wasn't supposed to be allowed to have kids after world war II so instead of killing his daughter, he imprisoned her in a tree.

The book is set in modern day America.  this makes it easy to relate to because the characters talk very similar to us and the book is written in first person so the reader can see the way Percy thinks which if I were in his shoes, would probably be how I thought too.  It is mainly set in New York which is one of the places I would like to travel to in the future.  Then Percy and his friend travel down to the Bermuda Triangle which is where the Sea of Monsters is located  Most loose ends were tied up at the end so I did not have as many questions as I thought I would but I was wondering whether Hades had ever had demigod children because as one of the Big Three gods, he is the only one that the author never mentions whether he had any kids.  It mentioned Percy was Poseidon's son and Thalia was Zeus's daughter, but never anything about Hades.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the first book which I would also recommend to anyone.  I think the whole series so far captivates the reader and surprises them as to what will happen next. I am only about half-way through the series but so far I am enjoying the books and hope that if anyone reads them after reading this, enjoy them too.

The Rise of Nine By: Pittacus Lore

The book "The Rise of Nine" is the third book of the I am number four series. The Rise of Nine is about a group of aliens coming to earth from their original planet, Lorien, because the mogadorians attacked their planet and all was destroyed. Ten children from Lorien came here with there Cepan( their guardians) to earth to survive and grow, without the mogadorians killing them, until they are strong enough to defeat the mogadorians and go back home. The story is told with having 1st person but each chapter it is a different perspective of the ten aliens. During the majority of the book they are all trying to find each other to come together and defeat the mogadorians and their leader, Setrakus Ra.

I thought it was very interesting the way the author wrote the story because it showed how everybody thought of things in the story and their reactions. One question I have about the book is why do they have numbers for names and not real names? Overall, I think people should read this book. It is fast paced, exciting, and you won't be able to put it down.

Pretty Little Liars-Sara Shepard

Four teenage girls lost their beloved Allison the day of their grade six summer sleepover, she supposedly was "murdered" and thrown into her backyard to rot for eternity. Or so they thought; that was until they received mysterious messages from an unknown  number that went by the name -A. this "-A" started to torment the four girls known as, Aria who was a very outgoing and an artsy girl with a couple family scandals obviously! Then there was Spencer, your typical student body president, you know the ones who have no friends and always over achieve in every single class? Ya, well that was Spencer for you, expect little miss perfect isn't as put together as she seems. Emily the competitive swimmer has everything she could need. Easy scholarship to any school she wants and the hottest guy on the swim team is all hers, however Emily can't make up her mind about boys theses day.Oh! We cant forget Hannah she was every boys eye candy and every girls dream. She was Rosewood Day "it girl" and she loved every waking moment of it.But every beautiful girl has some sort of daddy issue once in their life. So -A began to do what -A does best. Torture the four girls with every dirty little secret they committed. -A started piling on secrets after secrets till all of the girls baggage began to fall out on it own. Aria,Spencer,Emily, and Hannah got together and planned a way to find out who this mysterious -A was before she or he released their secrets to the public. I recommend this book to girls who like an thrill and people who don't necessarily like to know the full truth of a story until the very end.

Dark Visions - L.J Smith

Kaitlyn Fairchild has always felt like an outsider. She has unusual smoky blue eyes with a dark ring in the middle. Kaitlyn could draw the future , and they always came true for which she'd been an outcast. Kaitlyn accepts to join Zete's Institute for psychic teens. After spending time with four other psychics, they all learn to control their powers. Kaitlyn finds herself torn between two alluring guys. Rob is warm, and protective and his power is to heal. Gabriel is aggresive and misleading he's a telepath and a psychic vampire, he drains life energy from humans. The five of them are trapped in a telepathic web. The only way to get out is for one of them to die. Will they get out?

My reaction to when Kaitlyn leaves and joins Mr.Zete's was that she was stuck in a death trap. But luckily for her Gabriel saved her.

I was wondering, why was Joyce and the others that touched the crystal suddenly go againist Zetes? Was it because of Kaitlyn?

Others should read this book because I find it interesting when there is a love triangle , it's more mysterious. I think people with abnormal abilities are fun to read about because you can relate to how you would react in that situation. I would recommend this book to people who like to read strange things and mystery.

Warriors: Into The Wild

Erin Hunter

Warriors: Into The Wild is a book about a house cat who gets greeted by two wild cats when hunting to join their clan in a time of need. The main cat Fire-paw (Rusty) is a house cat who leaves his luxurious life to become a Warrior for the Thunder-clan in the book. Fire-paw meets these wild cats when he gets attacked by an apprentice training to be a Warrior and beats him.

My reaction to the plot is that I think its pretty cool that  these cats are fighting other cats and they hunt animals and teach new cats how to be better cats. What I was wondering throughout the novel was how these cats became so civilized and started their own clans. I think other people should read this book not just because it has cute kitty's but also that it has fighting and lessons.

I guess you could say that they are some pretty cool cats.

Elsewhere

by Gabrielle Zevin

Elsewhere is a place where people that past away on earth. The people that past away end up here, a place that is some sort close to earth but entirely different in its own way. while your reading this book you will hear about the life of Liz hall at else where. Elsewhere has its own laws, currency, and a community and beaches. Pets that pass away also come to elsewhere to start a new life in elsewhere. Age in Elsewhere doesn't work like it does on Earth, instead of counting up it counts down until your a newborn and you get sent back to Earth to start a new beginning with a new family.

Liz hall died at the age of 15 from an accident at the front of the mall, Liz wanted to turn 16 so she can make her own decisions and learn new thinks like driving and etc. As Liz lives her life in Elsewhere she meets new friends and also reunites with her grandma. Liz finds Love in Elsewhere but marriages don't exist. My opinion on this book is that its really creative and outgoing with detail. I personally loved this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that love to read and the people that don't because this book will change to people who don't.
