       Luke was only young but yet he had so little freedom. All he could ever do all day was stay in his little old house with his two brothers Matthew and Mark and his mom and dad. Luke was considered a shadow child, he was the third child of two kids. There was a law against having Luke because he was the third child. Luke had to stay hidden or else the population police will find him and kill him. One day luke was sitting in the attic all lonely when he suddenly saw something really interesting, he could have sworn he saw all his neighbors leave their house that morning. when he suddenly saw another persons face coming from that same house. Luke was memorized by what he saw! so he decides to go check it out. Luke discovers that he's not the only showdow kid out there, there was thousands of them. Luke met Jen she was  a shodow child just like him. Jen had a plan and her plan was to gather up all the thousands of shadow kids and revoke against the government and his men. Will Luke and Jen suceed in this process, or will they get caught in the end and both die along with the thousands of other shadow kids?

I would recomend this book because this book is very suspenceful and eye catching, and is pretty easy to understand in the end

The one thing the Author should have gave more information on is Luke and his family history, and when all this population law happened, and how.
