The Kill Order

This book is The Kill Order. It is the prequel to The Maze Runner, followed by The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure. This book is about how the Flare started, before WICKED was formed, the glade was built, Thomas entered the maze and destroyed the world man kind took for granted. The Flare is a deathly disease once you catch it you are sure to die since there is no antidote created. Yet. Except there are many people who are immune to this disease and can survive with out catching it. This book takes place in South-East USA. The main characters in this book are Mark, Alec, Trina and Lana. The Kill Order is from Marks point of view but is in 3rd person. You follow him around, hear about his dreams and what he has lost from this horrible decease.

Mark was there when the Flare and end of the world began, along with Trina right by his side the whole time. They survived the flare but that was easy compared to what followed. Mark and Trina along with Alec and Lana set of to find a cure to save the world from madness. They are willing to do anything as long as they're alive. When Alec and 
Mark take a little walk off their camp site to check something out there they are taken and captured by another group of survivors, who are slowing going insane. When they return to their site Trina, Lana and little girl they found who was left behind by the same group that captured Mark and Alec, the two of them set out to look for them. Then...

My opinion in this book is it was very well written and I was always on the edge of my seat. It is one of my favourite books and I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 10 especially if you like action books. The author of this book puts in the right amount of detail so you get a clear vision of what is going on but he never over did it.
