Running out of time is a book about a young girl named Jessie Keyser and her family. The Keyser family along with other families live in a place called Clifton during the time 1840's. Jessie took nightly doctoer calls with her mom, they would go try to take of people who were sick. One day there was a disease going around called diphtheria. A lot of children were getting sick including Katie, Jessie's little sister. Her mom could not find a cure, and had to tell Jessie the truth. 1840's Clifton was not real, it was all an act for a tourist attraction museum. Jessie's mom told her that Clifton was being watched all the time by video cameras. Jessie is sent on a mission to save  her sister and the other children. Will Jessie get help intime to save everyone?

I was surprised when Jessie took the challenge to get help for the children, on her own.

There was some parts of the book where there could've been more detail because, some parts were confusing and didn't make sense.

I think this is a very good book and I would reccomend this  book to other people. Others should read this book because, it's very interesting and suspenseful. It was very hard to put the book down, and you never knew what was going to happen next.

  1. Why did they have a tourist attraction site? What's the point of it? Did the disease kill them?
