The Rise of Nine By: Pittacus Lore

The book "The Rise of Nine" is the third book of the I am number four series. The Rise of Nine is about a group of aliens coming to earth from their original planet, Lorien, because the mogadorians attacked their planet and all was destroyed. Ten children from Lorien came here with there Cepan( their guardians) to earth to survive and grow, without the mogadorians killing them, until they are strong enough to defeat the mogadorians and go back home. The story is told with having 1st person but each chapter it is a different perspective of the ten aliens. During the majority of the book they are all trying to find each other to come together and defeat the mogadorians and their leader, Setrakus Ra.

I thought it was very interesting the way the author wrote the story because it showed how everybody thought of things in the story and their reactions. One question I have about the book is why do they have numbers for names and not real names? Overall, I think people should read this book. It is fast paced, exciting, and you won't be able to put it down.
