The Iron daughter November 22, 2012
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Rejected by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war is going on between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.
This book is a fantasy, it's the second book of it's series. I really enjoyed it because of the emotion the author put into the writing. When you reads it it feels like you have seen it before but in a dream. If you like romantic fantasy then this is a really good book for you, it also has war scenes and death. So if you're into that then I recommend this book.
Some thing I really liked was how dramatically it is all throughout the book. It really keeps the reading level up. A thing I would change would be when The queen bans her powers. I think it would have been written better if she had her powers.
